VDMA is reaffirming views that German machinery orders will increase 14 percent this year in spite of the cooling world economy. However, VDMA is also forecasting a 4 percent increase for next year. VDMA reported that German Machinery Orders were up 9 percent in July. This is a bit of good news in the midst of considerable economic uncertainty.
